The tastes of Romania, closer than you think. We created this online store for everyone who wants to try our food culture and traditional specialties,. Simple, pure tastes we grew up with: zacusca made after grandma's recipe, real cheese from the sheepfold, sausages, pastrami or cured bacon rested in the loft; jams made from freshly picked fruits from garden trees – not from intensive plantations. Our products will be in limited quantities, but – without a doubt – one of the highest quality. On the other hand, we want to lend a hand to the Romanian "peasant", buying from them only as much as they have to sell. Most of the time, we will be looking for new partners and products. We want to work with local producers from Romania – and not even producers in the classic sense, but ordinary people who have something of extra quality and who deserve to receive an award for their work, while giving another people the chance to eat something authentic and good. We personally verify the authenticity and quality of each products. It is not about products made "like at home" just as a marketing slogan – but about recipes and ingredients that really come from the country, that tell something about who we are. We want to cooperate with as many small local producers as possible, carefully chosen, who priorities quality over quantity. Welcome! Taste Romania – De Țară!
